Following the decisions made during our last executive meeting, the Canadian Newa Guthi will hold its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the following time, date, and venue. Important discussions and decisions will follow the AGM. Therefore, all members (General and Life Members) are requested to attend.

Purpose of the Meeting:
1. To receive the financial statements and Annual Report of CNG for the financial year 2023-2024.
2. To receive an annual report from the General Secretary, Dr. Prajwal Lal Pradhan.
3. To waive the appointment of auditors for the financial year 2023-2024.
4. To reduce the total number of Executive Members from 21 to 11 or 13 for the next executive committee election.
5. To discuss the formation and organizational structure of CNG Sanah (Shi) Guthi.
6. To announce the 20th Anniversary of Canadian Newa Guthi and the Samaybaji – 2025 Event next year.
7. Miscellaneous.
Upon arrival, all CNG members are advised to check in at the registration desk and update their name, address, and any other details if needed.
We kindly remind all CNG members who haven’t yet renewed their guthi membership to do so. We also encourage Newa Guthi members to invite new members to join the Canadian Newaguthi. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Please mark your calendars for the 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of CNG on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
The registration fees for the AGM are $25.00 per family and $15.00 for individuals. To help with food preparation, we request all life members, general members, and their families to register early via email. Please send the registration fees via e-transfer to newaguthicanada@gmail.com. The deadline for registration is September 23, 2024.
